Mad Hatter, children’s all time favourite is Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter tea Party. We have incorporated this into a birthday cake.

The cake is set out on a 12 inch round cake board which has been iced in a black and white check. Each of the check squares has been cut out and placed by hand.

Around the base on the cake board we have included hand made and coloured toadstools and some daisies. Leaning against the base tier is a hand made iced stopwatch (running backwards of course).

Also scattered around the base of this mad hatter cake are some playing cards and iced images of each suit of cards. Alice has been made by hand and decorated with her dress and pinafore.

The teapot has also been made out of cake and shaped as required. The handle and spout are made from icing. An ideal novelty birthday cake that would put a smile on most children’s faces.
